In February Russel Ruzin was accused of raping two women at a bar that he worked as a bouncer at. The charges were dropped this week when evidence came in saying that one of the women and Ruzin were found earlier in the day kissing with both partners in concent.

  1. Interesting story. This just gives us all a little reminder that there are two sides to every story. I also think this story gives everyone a little dose of reality saying that just because it was reported doesn't mean it happened. Good job.

  2. Wow, I feel that consent in kissing is way different than consent in having sex! What if she only consented so far? This is scary stuff.

  3. Wow, that is a crazy story. I agree with Shelly, though, kissing and having sex are two completely different things. It is different... she could not have wanted to have sex but I guess to the courts kissing someone means you're going to have sex with them. It's stupid.
    Anyways, nicely written =]

  4. This story is so similar to mine! I chose a story that is local to me in New York. A student at a university here on Long Island accused five young men of sexually assualting her, and later admitted to officials that the sex was consensual. I think it's crazy that someone would lie about something like that. Especially to have that on your conscious that four of the young men were in jail on account of her! Crazy.

    Mistake: Consent was misspelled
